Precision Pet Outback Log Exterior Dog House, Large, 45 1/2×33x33-Inches very easy to assemble – Guy M. Kitashiro – Honolulu, HI
I wanted a wooden dog house for my Shiba and decided on the Precision Outback. It was shipped via Amazon free super saver and arrived very quickly. The assembly was very straight forward, quick and easy. The structure seems solid and although the product has weather resistant coating, I applied some water sealant on the roofing and outside panels. I also put cut flooring tiles to fit under the dog house ‘footing blocks’ for additional wet proofing.
This seems to be a well manufactured and excellent product.

After being outside in constant rainy weather for two days, a section of shingles on the back right side of the roof warped upward to form a hump. I secured them flush to the backing material with brass skrews. I suppose the roofing panel tolerances may be a bit tight and the constant damp weather caused the shingles to expand from the moisture past the point where they would stay flush.
Again, I think this is an excellent product and my Shiba seems to like the ’secluded’ corner inside the dog house created by the off-set doorway.

People who want to excel in golf or any other sport have to practice regularly in order to stay in shape. This means practicing the swings in the range and the green while taking care of putt shots possibly in a mini golf course.
Aside from practice, the best way to practice those golf swings is by using some training aids.
One example is the weighted club. This will probably be two to five pounds heavier than what the player normally uses. The best thing about this type of training aid is that it makes the person practice the swing from beginning to end in slow motion to be able to get it right. When the individual is used to the weight and is able to perform it properly, it will be very easy using a lighter one during the tournament.
Some golfers have a hard time keeping the arms together during the course of the swing. This is the reason that getting a stretchable band and putting this in between the triceps is necessary. This will ensure the arms are in a triangular position from the beginning of the swing until the follow through. There is technique in holding the golf club and this is not by just holding it tight. One golfing aid that can teach the person how to do this right is called a golf grip. This is made of plastic, fits all kinds of clubs and is easy to install and remove.
Another aid for the hands is a pair of training gloves. This is because some players are also known to hold the club too tightly or loose, which affects the golf swing. It is important to have good footing when making a swing. This is the reason that the food wedge was invented to make sure that weight of the player is on the right foot. Using this during practice will make the individual do this automatically in the game. Most golfers look up to the big names in the sport as role models. Since it is hard to sign up for a clinic, the individual can get an instructional video made by that athlete to improve his golf swings.
Since it is sometimes hard to see how well the player swings, another piece of equipment that can be used during practice is a video recorder. Someone can record how the player is doing so that this can be reviewed later and adjustments can be made. Golfing swing aids and other equipment are not that hard to find since these are available in the golf shop or in the nearest sporting goods store. This should not cost more than $20 a piece but if the retailer is charging a little higher, perhaps the person can try looking for these items or something similar online.
Before buying anything, it will be a good idea to do some research first by asking other players or checking on customer feedback that is posted in the web. If the reviews and recommendations are good, it would not hurt to buy it and try this out during practice. In 1981, scientists in the United States and France first recognized the Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), which was later discovered to be caused by a virus called the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). HIV breaks down the body’s immunity to infections leading to AIDS. The virus can lie hidden in the body for up to 10 years without producing any obvious symptoms or before developing into the AIDS disease, and in the meantime the person can unknowingly infect others. Currently, an estimated 40 million people worldwide are HIV carriers, and three million a year are dying of AIDS.
HIV lives in white blood cells and is present in the sexual fluids of humans. It’s difficult to catch and is spread mostly through sexual intercourse, by needle or syringe sharing among intravenous drug users, in blood transfusions, and during pregnancy and birth (if the mother is infected). Using another person’s razor blade or having your body pierced or tattooed are also risky, but the HIV virus cannot be transmitted by shaking hands, kissing, cuddling, fondling, sneezing, cooking food, or sharing eating or drinking utensils. One cannot be infected by saliva, sweat, tears, urine, or feces; toilet seats, telephones, swimming pools, or mosquito bites do not cause AIDS. Ostracizing a known AIDS victim is not only immoral but also absurd.
Most blood banks now screen their products for HIV, and you can protect yourself against dirty needles by only allowing an injection if you see the syringe taken out of a fresh unopened pack. The simplest safeguard during sex is the proper use of a latex condom. Unroll the condom onto the erect penis; while withdrawing after ejaculation, hold onto the condom as you come out. Never try to recycle a condom, and pack a supply with you, as it can be a nuisance trying to buy them on short notice.
HIV is spread more often through anal than vaginal sex, because the lining of the rectum is much weaker than that of the vagina, and ordinary condoms sometimes tear when used in anal sex. If you have anal sex, only use extra-strong condoms and special water-based lubricants, since oil, Vaseline, and cream weaken the rubber. During oral sex you must make sure you don’t get any semen or menstrual blood in your mouth. A woman runs 10 times the risk of contracting AIDS from a man than the other way around, and the threat is always greater when another sexually transmitted disease (STD) is present.
The very existence of AIDS calls for a basic change in human behavior. No vaccine or drug exists that can prevent or cure AIDS, and because the virus mutates frequently, no remedy may ever be totally effective. Other STDs such as syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, hepatitis B, and herpes are far more common than AIDS and can lead to serious complications such as infertility, but at least they can usually be cured.
You should always practice safe sex to prevent AIDS and other STDs. You never know who is infected or even if you yourself have become infected. It’s important to bring the subject up before you start to make love. Make a joke out of it by pulling out a condom and asking your new partner, “Say, do you know what this is?” Or perhaps, “Your condom or mine?” Far from being unromantic or embarrassing, you’ll both feel more relaxed with the subject off your minds, and it’s much better than worrying afterwards if you might have been infected. The golden rule is safe sex or no sex.
An HIV infection can be detected through a blood test, because the antibodies created by the body to fight off the virus can be seen under a microscope. It takes at least three weeks for the antibodies to be produced and in some cases as long as six months before they can be picked up during a screening test. If you think you may have run a risk, you should discuss the appropriateness of a test with your doctor. It’s always better to know if you are infected so as to be able to avoid infecting others, to obtain early treatment of symptoms, and to make realistic plans. If you know someone with AIDS, you should give them all the support you can (there’s no danger in such contact unless blood is present).

Putting in time for some golf putting practice is the best way to lower your scores. Not only will it help you to develop a better putting stroke, but it will also improve your judgment of speed and distance and, in doing so, increase your confidence when you are on the putting green.
The farther you are from the hole the less likely you are to hole a putt, so the secret is to make sure that if you miss you leave the ball close enough to the hole to make the next putt a formality. Here are a couple of drills designed to help you hole out.
Practicing Your Long putts
When you’re practicing those longer putts, try this exercise: Take a handful of tees and place them in a semicircle around the back of the hole – a radius of 18 inches (0.4 m) to 2 feet (0.6 m) should be enough. Now take five balls and try to ensure that each of the putts stays within the semicircle. If you fail, then repeat the exercise until you succeed. As you improve, lengthen the distance of the putts.
Practicing Your Short putts
Even professional players sometimes miss the short putts. If you want to master the art of holing those tricky little shots, try this simple round-the-clock exercise. Place 12 balls in a circle around the hole to create a “clock face,” and then try to hole each of them in succession. If you miss one ball, start again from the beginning. As you improve with practice, increase the distance between the balls, so widening the circle.
Learning to Read Greens When Putting
Developing a smooth, reliable putting stroke is just the first step in becoming a consistent putter. To progress from good putter to great putter you must master the speed, and what’s called the “break,” of your putt. This means judging the contours of the green and knowing how hard you’ll need to hit the ball.
Reading greens begins with understanding how your ball reacts when rolling up, down, or across a slope. If it’s an uphill putt you’ll need to hit your ball harder than on a level green. If it’s downhill, don’t strike the ball so hard. When putting across a slope, aim wide of the target and try to determine how much the ball will curve on its way to the hole.
Before you start your round, spend a little time on the practice green. This will help you gauge the speed of the greens on the course. Don’t be tentative when taking short putts. It’s often easier to hole them when you hit them firmly and take any break out of the putt.
Before you take your shot, examine the break from a variety of angles and make a mental note of how any of your playing partner’s putts react on the way to green.
When you’ve picked your line and gauged the speed, be positive and trust your putting stroke. The worst mistake in putting is leaving the putt short, so hit it hard enough to ensure that it stops just before the hole. With sufficient practice, you should be able to master putting and lower your score easily.
